What Size Do I Need - Dumpster Dimensions
A 12 yard dumpster can hold the amount of debris equivalent to the size of a "mid-sized" car. Mid size car = 12 yard Roll Off or Lugger. Restrictions - Lead acid batteries, fluorescent lamps, asbestos, gas, oil, wet paint, radio active waste, medical waste, flammable or explosive materials, large amounts of yard waste, concrete/asphalt, dirt, large appliances, tires. No "Hazardous Materials" of any kind. Computers (desktop, laptop, notebook and tablet computers) desktop printers (including those that scan, fax and/or copy) computer monitors other computer accessories (including keyboards, mice, speakers, external hard drives and flash drives) DVD players, VCRs and other video players (i.e., DVRs) fax machines and cell phones.
Dumpsters on Streets - We provide street permits for only the city of Milwaukee. 7-day street permits typically run $145 for 1 week. A permit for an extra 3 weeks (totaling 15 days) is an additional $55. These permit fees can vary depending on how busy the street is. Two Barricades are required for dumpsters placed on the street. $55 per pair. Please contact your city hall for requirements outside of Milwaukee.Damage - Protect your drive by placing three 8' 2x6's boards in the area to be delivered. Placing dumpsters on your grass can cause damage especially when the ground is wet. Asphalt surfaces are softer in warm weather.
